Ralston McKee, one of the well known citizens of Richland County, died Monday, April 29, at the home of his only grandson, J.R. McKee, three miles south of Mansfield.  Mr. McKee was born in Jefferson County in 1809.  He was a millwright and a woolen manufacturer until he moved upon a farm south of Mansfield, where he continued to reside until his death.  His only son, William McKee, died a number of years ago leaving an only son.  The funeral occurred from the residence Wednesday, May 1, at 10 o'clock a.m.  Interment in the Mansfield Cemetery.  The services were conducted by the Rev. F.B. Foster.
